Citizens Festival

Great views for all Berlin: Each year in late summer the President sends out an invitation to a festival at Bellevue Castle. And each year invited guests as well as the more adventurous part of the population turn up en masse.

facts and fiction is also there, as once again the entire conception and realisation of the event was in our hands. When the first man of the state invites people to his garden it is no small undertaking. Organisational things like taking care of all the partners of the festival, including contracts and the management of the overall budget, were as much our responsibility as the technical management and implementation of the entire event. Even the information and advertising materials for festival including large format posters and trailers sprang from the minds and computers at facts and fiction.

As our creative and conceptual strength as an agency is precisely what distinguishes us, we also advised the President's Office on content and topics, assuming editorial responsibility during the various discussions and workshops.

The stage program was divided into three parts with a main stage, a dialogue forum and a children's area. All three provided an entertaining mix of information and interaction with many well-known act and some newcomers. Among the fantastic contributions to the broad musical soundscape were Nena, The Fortunate Fools, The Monitors, the Bundeswehr Big Band, the German Federal Jazz Orchestra, Larsito and the Afrofunker from Bantu. Interviews and discussions on important current topics were conducted by well-known presenters such as Pinar Atalay, TV doctors Susanne Holst and Eckart von Hirschhausen and KiKA veteran Juri Tetzlaff.
